The Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors (SAAR) recently released its monthly Market Data Report, which highlights the key metrics for residential real estate inventory,
Some important factors to consider about the current market conditions are as follows:
1. There is currently 2 months of inventory compared to 4 months of inventory in August 2014. Though sales were less than in July, there was an increase over August in 2014.
2. The percentage of sale price to list price is extremely high. This reflects list prices that are in line with the current market values.
3. Assuming an interest rate increase at some point this year, rates remain at near historic lows.
